11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 1782, between lines 28 and 29,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 1083.  School districts to employ school
18  psychologists and school social workers.--Beginning with the
19  2002-2003 school year and thereafter, each district school
20  board in the state shall employ a school psychologist
21  certified by the Department of Education or licensed under
22  chapter 490, Florida Statutes, and a school social worker
23  certified by the Department of Education or licensed under
24  chapter 491, Florida Statutes, for each elementary and
25  secondary school in the district. The school psychologist and
26  school social worker shall be available to counsel students
27  during regular school hours. This section shall take effect
28  July 1, 2002.
