11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 1782, between lines 28 and 29,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 1083.  School districts to employ school
18  nurses.--Beginning with the 2002-2003 school year and
19  thereafter, each school district in this state shall employ a
20  nurse licensed under chapter 464, Florida Statutes, for each
21  elementary and secondary school in the district. The nurse
22  shall be available to provide medical attention to students
23  during regular school hours.
24         Section 1084.  The sum of $________ is appropriated
25  from the General Revenue Fund to the district school boards
26  for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of section 1072
27  of this act during the 2002-2003 fiscal year.
