17 and insert: The Bureau of Pharmacy Services may provide
18 information contained in the electronic monitoring system to a
19 licensed health care practitioner for the purpose of providing
20 diagnostic or treatment services to an individual patient or
21 consumer under the practitioner's care.
22 (10) The Bureau of Pharmacy Services of the Department
23 of Health shall submit a report to the President of the Senate
24 and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by March 1,
25 2003, which recommends performance-based measures for the
26 electronic monitoring system established under this section
27 and provides the status of implementation of the system. By
28 July 1 of each year, beginning in 2004, the Bureau of Pharmacy
29 Services shall report to the President of the Senate and the
30 Speaker of the House of Representatives on the status of
31 implementation of the electronic monitoring system. The annual

1 report must include a report of the Bureau of Pharmacy
2 Services' compliance with any performance-based measures
3 established by the Legislature for the electronic monitoring
