14 On page 91, between lines 19 and 20,

16 insert:
17 Section 20. Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section
18 627.6425, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 627.6425 Renewability of individual coverage.--
20 (2) An insurer may nonrenew or discontinue health
21 insurance coverage of an individual in the individual market
22 based only on one or more of the following:
23 (a) The individual has failed to pay premiums, or
24 contributions, or a required copayment payable to the insurer
25 in accordance with the terms of the health insurance coverage
26 or the insurer has not received timely premium payments. If
27 the copayment is payable to the insurer and exceeds $300, the
28 insurer shall allow the insured up to 90 days following the
29 date of the procedure to pay the required copayment. The
30 insurer shall print in 10-point type on the
31 declaration-of-benefits page notification that the insured

1 could be terminated for failure to make any required copayment
2 to the insurer.
