13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 12, between lines 4 and 5,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 2.  Integrated therapies pilot program.--The
18  Department of Management Services may contract, within
19  existing resources, with an integrative medical management
20  provider to develop and implement an integrated therapies
21  pilot program for calendar year 2004 to improve the quality of
22  care and cost-effectiveness of the state group insurance
23  programs in the Tampa Bay area. The integrated medical
24  management model may use the best practices of conventional
25  and complimentary alternative medicine. The department may
26  obtain an actuarial study to determine appropriate pricing
27  models.
