1	A reviser's bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to the official Florida Statutes; amending
3	ss. 11.2421, 11.2422, 11.2424, and 11.2425, F.S.; adopting
4	the Florida Statutes 2003 and designating the portions
5	thereof that are to constitute the official law of the
6	state; providing that the Florida Statutes 2003 shall be
7	effective immediately upon publication; providing that
8	general laws enacted during the April 29-May 13, 2002,
9	special session and prior thereto and not included in the
10	Florida Statutes 2003 are repealed; providing that general
11	laws enacted during the 2003 regular session are not
12	repealed by this adoption act.

14	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
15
16	Section 1. Section 11.2421, Florida Statutes, is amended
17	to read:
18	11.2421 Florida Statutes 20031999adopted.--The
19	accompanying revision, consolidation, and compilation of the
20	public statutes of 20021997of a general and permanent nature,
21	excepting tables, rules, indexes, and other related matter
22	contained therein, prepared by the Office of Legislative
23	Services under the provisions of s. 11.242, together with
24	corrections, changes, and amendments to and repeals of
25	provisions of Florida Statutes 20021997enacted in additional
26	reviser's bill or bills by the 20031999Legislature, is adopted
27	and enacted as the official statute law of the state under the
28	title of "Florida Statutes 20031999" and shall take effect
29	immediately upon publication. Said statutes may be cited as
30	"Florida Statutes 20031999," "Florida Statutes," or "F.S. 2003
31	1999."
32	Section 2. Section 11.2422, Florida Statutes, is amended
33	to read:
34	11.2422 Statutes repealed.--Every statute of a general and
35	permanent nature enacted by the State or by the Territory of
36	Florida at or prior to the April 29-May 13, 2002, special
37	regular 1997legislative session, and every part of such
38	statute, not included in Florida Statutes 20031999, as adopted
39	by s. 11.2421, as amended, or recognized and continued in force
40	by reference therein or in ss. 11.2423 and 11.2424, as amended,
41	is repealed.
42	Section 3. Section 11.2424, Florida Statutes, is amended
43	to read:
44	11.2424 Laws not repealed.--Laws enacted at the 2003
45	November 1997 special session, the 1998 regular session, and the
46	1999regular session are not repealed by the adoption and
47	enactment of the Florida Statutes 20031999by s. 11.2421, as
48	amended, but shall have full effect as if enacted after its said
49	adoption and enactment.
50	Section 4. Section 11.2425, Florida Statutes, is amended
51	to read:
52	11.2425 Rights reserved under repealed statutes.--The
53	repeal of any statute by the adoption and enactment of Florida
54	Statutes 20031999, by s. 11.2421, as amended, shall not affect
55	any right accrued before such repeal or any civil remedy where a
56	suit is pending.
57	Section 5. This act shall take effect on the 60th day
58	after adjournment sine die of the session of the Legislature in
59	which enacted.
