11  The Committee on Judiciary recommended the following amendment

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, line 23, through page 2, line 1, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  records. The deceased's surviving relative with
19  whom authority rests to obtain such records may in writing
20  designate an agent to obtain such records. A local
21  governmental entity, or a state or federal agency, in
22  furtherance of its official duties, pursuant to a written
23  request, may view or copy a photograph or video or may listen
24  to or copy an audio recording of an autopsy, and unless
25  otherwise required in the performance of their duties, the
26  identity of the deceased shall remain confidential and exempt.
27  The custodian of the record, or his or her designee, may not
28  permit any other person, except an agent designated in writing
29  by the deceased's surviving relative with whom authority rests
30  to obtain such records, to view or copy
