11  Senator Wasserman Schultz moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 132, line 8, through,
15            page 133, line 17, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         3.  All impairment income benefits shall be based on an
19  impairment rating using the impairment schedule referred to in
20  subparagraph 2. For accidents occurring after July 1994 and
21  before July 1, 2003, impairment income benefits are paid
22  weekly at the rate of 100 50 percent of the employee's average
23  weekly temporary total disability benefit not to exceed the
24  maximum weekly benefit under s. 440.12. An employee's
25  entitlement to impairment income benefits begins the day after
26  the employee reaches maximum medical improvement or the
27  expiration of temporary benefits, whichever occurs earlier,
28  and continues until the earlier of:
29         a.  The expiration of a period computed at the rate of
30  3 weeks for each percentage point of impairment; or
31         b.  The death of the employee.
