11 Senator Alexander moved the following amendment:

13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 Delete everything after the enacting clause
15
16 and insert:
17 Section 1. (1) Effective October 1, 2005, sections
18 627.730, 627.731, 627.732, 627.733, 627.734, 627.736, 627.737,
19 627.739, 627.7401, 627.7403, and 627.7405, Florida Statutes,
20 constituting the Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law, are
21 repealed, unless reenacted by Legislature during the 2004
22 Regular Session and such reenactment becomes law to take
23 effect for policies issued or renewed on or after October 1,
24 2004.
25 (2) Insurers are authorized to provide, in all
26 policies issues or renewed after October 1, 2003, that such
27 policies may terminate on or after October 1, 2005, as
28 provided in subsection (1).
29 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
30 law.

7 An act relating to motor vehicle insurance
8 affordability reform; repealing of ss. 627.730,
9 627.731, 627.732, 627.733, 627.734, 627.736,
10 627.737, 627.739, 627.7401, 627.7403, and
11 627.7405, F.S., relating to the Florida Motor
12 Vehicle No-Fault Law, unless reenacted during
13 the 2004 Regular Session, and specifying
14 certain effect; authorizing insurers to include
15 in policies a notice of termination relating to
16 such repeal; providing an effective date.
