  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to adoption; expressing the

  3         legislative intent to revise laws relating to

  4         adoption and a paternity registry; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to revise laws

10  relating to adoption and establishing a paternity registry and

11  improving procedures to ensure secure adoptions and to protect

12  the rights of the biological and adoptive parents, the

13  children, and other entities.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
