14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, line 24, to page 2, line 12, delete those
16  lines

18  and insert:  ballot measure were approved.  The sponsor of an
19  initiative amendment may also draft an initiative financial
20  information statement that includes the sponsor's estimated
21  increase or decrease in any revenues or costs to state or
22  local governments resulting from the proposed initiative.
23  Where appropriate, the initiative financial information
24  statements may include both estimated dollar amounts and a
25  description placing the estimated dollar amounts into context.
26  The initiative financial information statements must include
27  both a summary of not more than 500 words and more detailed
28  information that includes the assumptions that were made to
29  develop the fiscal impacts, work papers, and any other
30  information deemed relevant by the Revenue Estimating
31  Conference or amendment sponsor.

 1         b.  The Department of State shall have printed, and
 2  shall furnish to each supervisor of elections, a copy of the
 3  summary from the initiative financial information statements.
 4  The supervisors shall have the summary from the initiative
 5  financial information statements available at each polling
 6  place and at their main office upon request.
 7         c.  The Secretary of State shall make available on the
 8  Internet the initiative financial information statements in
 9  their entirety.  In addition, each supervisor of elections
10  with a web site shall post the summary from the initiative
11  financial information statements on their web site.
