11 The Committee on Transportation recommended the following
12 amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 2, lines 3-13, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: electors of Florida for approval or rejection at
18 the general election to be held in November 2004.
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the title and substance of
20 the amendment proposed herein shall appear on the ballot as
21 follows:
22 REMOVAL OF REQUIREMENT FOR A HIGH SPEED GROUND TRANSPORTATION
23 SYSTEM FROM THE STATE CONSTITUTION
24 Proposes the repeal of Section 19 of Article X of the
25 State Constitution to eliminate the constitutional requirement
26 that the state provide for the development and operation of a
27 high speed ground transportation system.
