14	Amendment (with title amendment)
15	Remove lines 455 and 456, and insert:
16	Section 10. Subsection (2) of section 373.0691, Florida
17	Statutes, is renumbered as subsection (3), and a new subsection
18	(2) is added to said section, to read:
19	373.0691 Transfer of areas.--
20	(2) Effective at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, 2003, that portion
21	of Polk County formerly within the St. Johns River Water
22	Management District as set forth in s. 373.069 is transferred to
23	the Southwest Florida Water Management District. With respect to
24	the area transferred and at the time of change of boundaries,
25	all contractual obligations of the St. Johns River Water
26	Management District, all real property interests owned by the
27	St. Johns River Water Management District, all regulatory
28	responsibilities of the St. Johns River Water Management
29	District, all equipment and other personal property used solely
30	by the St. Johns River Water Management District in that area,
31	and all records of the St. Johns River Water Management District
32	shall be transferred and delivered to the Southwest Florida
33	Water Management District.
34	Section 11. Except as otherwise provided herein, this act
35	shall take effect upon becoming a law.
