12	An act relating to Broward County; providing for
13	deannexation of certain lands from the City of Cooper
14	City; providing for annexation of certain lands into the
15	Town of Southwest Ranches; providing an effective date.

17	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

19	Section 1. The lands contained in the following legal
20	description are hereby deannexed from the City of Cooper City,
21	Broward County:
22
23	A portion of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of
24	Section 26, Township 50 South, Range 40 East, Broward
25	County, Florida, being more particularly described as
26	follows:
27	COMMENCE at the intersection of the baseline of survey
28	of Griffin Road with baseline of survey of Flamingo
29	Road as shown on the Florida Department of
30	Transportation Right-of-Way Map, Section No. 86190-
31	2517, Sheet 2 of 16;
32	THENCE South 88°29’39” West, 85.01 feet;
33	THENCE South 01°47’01” East, along the West right-of-
34	way line of Flamingo Road, 688.37 feet;
35	THENCE South 88°12’59” West, 315.65 feet to the POINT
36	OF BEGINNING;
37	THENCE continue South 88°12’59” West, 294.35 feet;
38	THENCE North 01°47’01” West, 571.50 feet to a point on
39	the South right-of-way line of said Griffin Road;
40	THENCE South 87°58’34” East along said South right-of-
41	way line, 233.02 feet;
42	THENCE North 88°29’39” East along said South right-of-
43	way line 64.55 feet; THENCE South 01°30’21” East,
44	555.72 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Said lands
45	lying in the City of Cooper City, Broward County,
46	Florida, containing 166,206 square feet (3.815 acres),
47	more or less.

49	Section 2. The present corporate limits of the Town of
50	Southwest Ranches, Broward County, are hereby extended and
51	enlarged so as to include, in addition to the territory
52	presently within said corporate limits, the following:
