14	Amendment (with title amendment)
15	Remove line 1386, and insert:
16	of this act are declared severable. However, notwithstanding the
17	provisions of this section, section 28, creating s. 766.118,
18	Florida Statutes, relating to the determination of noneconomic
19	damages as a result of medical negligence, and section 38,
20	repealing s. 768.21(8), Florida Statutes, relating to removing
21	the prohibition against certain parties from bringing suit for
22	wrongful death as a result of medical negligence, are not
23	severable and neither would have been enacted without the other.
24	If either such provision is held invalid, both provisions are
25	invalid.
