15	Between line(s) 35 and 36, insert:
16	Section 2. Paragraph (k) is added to subsection (10) of
17	section 1009.21, Florida Statutes, to read:
18	1009.21 Determination of resident status for tuition
19	purposes.--Students shall be classified as residents or
20	nonresidents for the purpose of assessing tuition in community
21	colleges and state universities.
22	(10) The following persons shall be classified as
23	residents for tuition purposes:
24	(k) Active duty members of a foreign nation's military
25	serving as liaison officers and residing or stationed in this
26	state, and their spouses and dependent children, attending a
27	community college or state university within 50 miles of the
28	military establishment where they are stationed.
