14	Amendment (with title amendment)
15	Between line(s) 167-168, insert:
16	(d) The authority shall inherit all rights, assets,
17	agreements, appropriations, privileges, and obligations of all
18	transit agencies in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties
19	upon approval of the respective governing bodies.
20	(e) If the authority acquires, purchases, operates,
21	condemns, or inherits an existing transit system, the authority
22	shall guarantee that the rights, privileges, benefits, and other
23	employee protective conditions and remedies as provided in 49
24	U.S.C. s. 5333(b), and arrangements made thereunder, shall apply
25	to transit employees affected by action of the authority
26	authorized under this act. Notwithstanding any other provision
27	of law, no action of the authority shall affect the rights of
28	existing transit employees to be represented by their exclusive
29	representatives under certifications issued pursuant to s.
30	447.307 as of July 1, 2003.
