15          Between lines 3413 and 3414, insert:
16          (g) Notwithstanding paragraph (c), for accidents occurring
17    on or after October 1, 2003, an employee's entitlement to
18    impairment income benefits begins the day after the employee
19    reaches maximum medical improvement or the expiration of
20    temporary benefits, whichever occurs earlier, and continues for
21    the following periods:
22          1. Two weeks of benefits are to be paid to the employee
23    for each percentage point of impairment from 1 percent up to and
24    including 10 percent.
25          2. For each percentage point of impairment from 11 percent
26    up to and including 15 percent, 3 weeks of benefits are to be
27    paid.
28          3. For each percentage point of impairment from 16 percent
29    up to and including 20 percent, 4 weeks of benefits are to be
30    paid.
31          4. For each percentage point of impairment from 21 percent
32    and higher, 6 weeks of benefits are to be paid.
