14 On page 1, line 22,

16 insert:
17 Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section
18 1006.28, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 1006.28 Duties of district school board, district
20 school superintendent; and school principal regarding K-12
21 instructional materials.--
22 (2) DISTRICT SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT.--
23 (b) Each district school superintendent shall notify
24 the department by February 1 April 1 of each year the
25 state-adopted instructional materials that will be
26 requisitioned for use in his or her school district. The
27 notification shall include a district school board plan for
28 instructional materials use to assist in determining if
29 adequate instructional materials have been requisitioned.
