8 County; designating the Dr. Martin Luther King,
9 Jr., Memorial Highway in Gadsden County;
10 designating the Jim Deaton Memorial Bridge in
11 Duval County; directing the Department of
12 Transportation to erect suitable markers;
13 designating the Darce Taylor Crist Boulevard in
14 Pasco County; directing the Department of
15 Transportation to erect suitable markers;
16 designating the Purple Heart Highway; directing
17 the Department of Transportation to erect
18 suitable markers; providing an effective date.

20 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
21
22 Section 1. Purple Heart Memorial Highway designated;
23 department to erect suitable markers.--
24 (1) That portion of Interstate 75 from the
25 Georgia-Florida state line to the city limits of Ocala in
26 Marion County is hereby designated as "Purple Heart Memorial
27 Highway."
28 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
29 erect suitable markers designating Purple Heart Memorial
30 Highway as described in subsection (1).

1 Section 2. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial
2 Highway designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
3 (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 41 located in White
4 Springs in Hamilton County is hereby designated as "Dr. Martin
5 Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway."
6 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
7 erect suitable markers designating Dr. Martin Luther King,
8 Jr., Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
9 Section 3. Nott Circle Roundabout designated;
10 department to erect suitable markers.--
11 (1) The roundabout at State Road 51, Walker Avenue,
12 and County Road 136 located in Live Oak in Suwannee County is
13 hereby designated as "Nott Circle Roundabout."
14 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
15 erect suitable markers designating Nott Circle Roundabout as
16 described in subsection (1).
17 Section 4. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial
18 Highway designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
19 (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 27 (State Road 63)
20 inside the city limits of Havana in Gadsden County is hereby
21 designated as the "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial
22 Highway."
23 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
24 erect two memorial signs at the north and south ends of the
25 city limits designating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial
26 Highway as described in subsection (1).
27 Section 5. Jim Deaton Memorial Bridge designated;
28 markers.--
29 (1) The northbound and southbound spans of the Cedar
30 River Bridge (bridge designations 720325 and 720326) on State

1 Road 21 in Duval County are hereby collectively designated the
2 "Jim Deaton Memorial Bridge."
3 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
4 erect suitable markers designating the Jim Deaton Memorial
5 Bridge as described in subsection (1).
6 Section 6. Darce Taylor Crist Boulevard designated.--
7 (1) That portion of State Road 56 from State Road 581,
8 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, on the east to State Road 54 on the
9 west is designated the Darce Taylor Crist Boulevard.
10 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
11 erect suitable markers designating the Darce Taylor Crist
12 Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
13 Section 7. Purple Heart Highway designated.--
14 (1) That portion of State Road 54 from U.S. 301 on the
15 east to U.S. 19 on the west is designated the Purple Heart
16 Highway.
17 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
18 erect suitable markers designating the Purple Heart Highway as
19 described in subsection (1).
20 Section 8. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
21 law.
