12 16 as the "Correctional Officers Memorial
13 Highway"; designating a portion of Interstate
14 75 as the "Purple Heart Memorial Highway";
15 designating the "Korean War Veterans Memorial
16 Highway" in Seminole County; designating a
17 portion of State Road 100 in Flagler County as
18 Veterans Memorial Highway; designating the
19 "All-American Parkway" in Miami-Dade County;
20 designating "Borinquen Boulevard" in Miami-Dade
21 County; directing the Department of
22 Transportation to erect suitable markers;
23 providing an effective date.

25 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

27 Section 1. (1) That portion of I-275 which begins at
28 the Pinellas County end of the Howard Franklin Bridge and,
29 proceeding south, ends at the beginning of the Sunshine Skyway
30 Bridge is designated as the "St. Petersburg Parkway."

1 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
2 erect suitable markers designating the "St. Petersburg
3 Parkway" as described in subsection (1).
4 Section 2. (1) The new Rose Bay bridges on U.S.
5 Highway 1, between the Cities of New Smyrna Beach and Port
6 Orange, are dedicated in honor of United States military
7 personnel who were prisoners of war (POW's) or who are missing
8 in action (MIA's).
9 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
10 erect suitable markers designating the dedication in honor of
11 POW's and MIA's.
12 Section 3. Veterans Memorial Bridge designation;
13 markers.--
14 (1) Bridge number 550122 on Thomasville Road in the
15 City of Tallahassee in Leon County is designated as the
16 "Veterans Memorial Bridge."
17 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
18 erect suitable markers designating the "Veterans Memorial
19 Bridge" as described in subsection (1).
20 Section 4. Lynn Haven Parkway designation; markers.--
21 (1) That portion of State Road 77 between Baldwin Road
22 and Mowat School Road in the City of Lynn Haven in Bay County
23 is designated as the "Lynn Haven Parkway."
24 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
25 erect suitable markers designating the "Lynn Haven Parkway" as
26 described in subsection (1).
27 Section 5. Correctional Officers Memorial Highway
28 designation; markers.--
29 (1) That portion of State Road 16 from the
30 northwestern city limits of Starke in Bradford County to State

1 Road 121 in Union County is designated as the "Correctional
2 Officers Memorial Highway."
3 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
4 erect suitable markers designating the "Correctional Officers
5 Memorial Highway" as described in subsection (1).
6 Section 6. Purple Heart Memorial Highway designation;
7 markers.--
8 (1) Interstate 75 from the Georgia-Florida state line
9 to the city limits of Ocala in Marion County is designated as
10 the "Purple Heart Memorial Highway."
11 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
12 erect suitable markers designating the "Purple Heart Memorial
13 Highway" as described in subsection (1).
14 Section 7. Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway
15 designation; markers.--
16 (1) Highway 417 in Seminole County is designated as
17 the "Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway."
18 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
19 erect suitable markers designating the "Korean War Veterans
20 Memorial Highway" as described in subsection (1).
21 Section 8. "Veterans Memorial Highway designation;
22 markers.--
23 (1) That portion of State Road 100, beginning at the
24 western city limits of the Town of Flagler Beach in Flagler
25 County and continuing east to the eastern city limits of the
26 Town of Bunnell, is designated as the "Veterans Memorial
27 Highway."
28 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
29 erect suitable markers designating the "Veterans Memorial
30 Highway" as described in subsection (1).

1 Section 9. "South Miami All-American Parkway"
2 designation.--
3 (1) U.S. 1 from 57th Avenue to S.W. 80th Street in
4 Miami-Dade County is designated as "South Miami All-American
5 Parkway."
6 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
7 erect suitable markers designating "South Miami All-American
8 Parkway" as described in subsection (1).
9 Section 10. Borinquen Boulevard designation;
10 markers.--
11 (1) That portion of North 36th Street (State Road 25)
12 from Biscayne Boulevard to N.W. 7th Avenue is designated
13 "Borinquen Boulevard" in honor of Miami-Dade County's Puerto
14 Rican community.
15 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
16 erect suitable markers designating the "Borinquen Boulevard"
17 as described in subsection (1).
18 Section 11. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
19 law.
