11  Senator Dockery moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 16, lines 24 and 25, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         Section 10.  Subsection (2) of section 373.0691,
18  Florida Statutes, is redesignated as subsection (3), and a new
19  subsection (2) is added to that section, to read:
20         373.0691  Transfer of areas.--
21         (2)  Effective at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, 2003, that
22  portion of Polk County formerly within the St. Johns River
23  Water Management District as set forth in s. 373.069 is
24  transferred to the Southwest Florida Water Management
25  District. With respect to the area transferred and at the time
26  of change of boundaries, all contractual obligations of the
27  St. Johns River Water Management District, all real property
28  interests owned by the St. Johns River Water Management
29  District, all regulatory responsibilities of the St. Johns
30  River Water Management District, all equipment and other
31  personal property used solely by the St. Johns River Water

 1  Management District in that area, and all records of the St.
 2  Johns River Water Management District shall be transferred and
 3  delivered to the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
 4         Section 11.  Except as otherwise expressly provided in
 5  this act, this act shall take effect upon becoming a law.

10         On page 2, line 13, delete that line

12  and insert:
13         cross-references; amending s. 373.0691, F.S.;
14         providing for the transfer of land and other

17         Water Management District; providing effective
18         dates.
