11  Senator Hill moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 54, between lines 20 and 21,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 13.  Notwithstanding any other provision of
18  law, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development
19  may amend the boundaries of an area designated as an
20  enterprise zone in a community located wholly within the
21  boundaries of a consolidated government so long as the
22  amendment does not increase the existing size of the
23  enterprise zone by an area of more than 2 square miles. The
24  enterprise zone in said community may also be expanded to
25  include non-contiguous areas designated as a federal
26  empowerment zone under the 2000 Community Renewal Tax Relief
27  Act without any limitations as to size.
