13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 11, between lines 20 and 21,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 5.  Section 374.982, Florida Statutes, is
18  amended to read:
19         374.982  District.--An independent special taxing
20  district to be known as the "Florida Inland Navigation
21  District" is hereby created. The territorial boundaries of the
22  district shall be the counties of Duval, St. Johns, Flagler,
23  Volusia, Brevard, St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Palm Beach,
24  Broward, Nassau, and Dade. For purposes of this chapter, the
25  term "district" means the Florida Inland Navigation District
26  and the term "board" means the Board of Commissioners of the
27  Florida Inland Navigation District.
