Section 8. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and |
18
|
Government Accountability shall review and recommend appropriate |
19
|
changes to the laws of this state affecting mold remediation |
20
|
companies, mold remediation contractors, and mold training |
21
|
providers. In conducting the review, the office shall consider |
22
|
input from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, |
23
|
the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the |
24
|
Department of Health, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer |
25
|
Services, and the Department of Environmental Protection. The |
26
|
review shall evaluate the need for any changes and additions to |
27
|
those laws which may be appropriate to protect the health, |
28
|
safety, and welfare of consumers. By February 1, 2004, the |
29
|
office shall submit a report of its findings and recommendations |
30
|
to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of |
31
|
the House of Representatives.
