  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Kidcare Program;

  3         repealing s. 57 of chapter 98-288, Laws of

  4         Florida; abrogating the repeal of the Florida

  5         Kidcare Act; providing an appropriation;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  Section 57 of chapter 98-288, Laws of

11  Florida, is repealed.

12         Section 2.  The sum of $527,085 from the Medical Care

13  Trust Fund and the sum of $212,683 from the General Revenue

14  Fund are appropriated to the Agency for Health Care

15  Administration for the 2003-2004 fiscal year for the purpose

16  of creating an electronic data interchange between the FLORIDA

17  system and the data system of the fiscal agent for the Florida

18  Healthy Kids Corporation.

19         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2003.

22                          SENATE SUMMARY

23    Abrogates a repeal of ss. 409.810-409.820, F.S., the
      Florida Kidcare Act. Appropriates funds to create an
24    electronic data interchange between the FLORIDA system
      and the data system of the fiscal agent for the Florida
