11  The Committee on Transportation recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3, lines 3-6, delete those lines
16  and insert:  (c)  For fiscal year 2003-2004 there is
17  appropriated to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
18  from the accumulated sea turtle grant monies in the Marine
19  Resources Conservation Trust Fund the amount of $350,000. That
20  amount shall be transferred to the Caribbean Conservation
21  Corporation to fund the sea turtle grant program subject to
22  the limitations and provisions of paragraph (b). For fiscal
23  year 2003-2004, any remaining sea turtle license plate funds
24  in the Marine Resources Conservation Trust Fund shall be used
25  by the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for sea
26  turtle research and management activities.
27         Section 2.  Paragraph (h) of subsection (1) of section
28  370.12, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
29         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2003.
