  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to district school board

  3         employees; requiring an employee of a district

  4         school board who is a member of the Legislature

  5         to take unpaid leave for time away from

  6         employment while on legislative business;

  7         providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  District school board employees required to

12  take unpaid leave while on legislative business.--An employee

13  of a district school board who is a member of the Legislature

14  must take unpaid administrative leave for any period of time

15  away from his or her place of employment due to legislative

16  duties and responsibilities.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.
