15	Between lines 18 and 19, insert:
16	Section 1. Subsection (17) is added to section 215.47,
17	Florida Statutes, to read:
18	215.47 Investments; authorized securities; loan of
19	securities.--Subject to the limitations and conditions of the
20	State Constitution or of the trust agreement relating to a trust
21	fund, moneys available for investments under ss. 215.44-215.53
22	may be invested as follows:
23	(17) The board of trustees of any pension fund created by
24	the Legislature prior to January 1, 1940, and operated as part
25	of a consolidated government may, by majority vote, amend the
26	plan’s investment plan to include investments authorized by
27	subsection (1); paragraphs (2)(a), (b), (c), and (d),
28	subparagraph (2)(f)1., and paragraphs (2)(g), (h), (i), and (j);
29	and subsections (3), (4), (5), (8), and (16). In making
30	investments for the plan, the board shall make no investment
31	that is not in conformance with the plan’s written investment
32	plan. The investment plan shall be developed by the plan
33	administrator, shall be approved by the board, and may be
34	amended at any time by the board. Upon adoption by the board,
35	the investment plan and any amendments shall be promptly filed
36	with the Division of Retirement, the plan sponsor, and the plan
37	actuary. The effective date of the investment plan shall be the
38	31st calendar day following the date the plan is filed with the
39	plan sponsor.
