11	An act relating to interdistrict transfer and use of
12	water; amending s. 373.2295, F.S.; revising the definition
13	of the term "interdistrict transfer and use"; providing
14	authorization for agreements between water management
15	districts entered into prior to the effective date of the
16	act; providing an effective date.

18	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

20	Section 1. Subsection (1) of section 373.2295, Florida
21	Statutes, is amended to read:
22	373.2295 Interdistrict transfers of groundwater.--
23	(1) As used in this section, "interdistrict transfer and
24	use" means a consumptive water use which involves the withdrawal
25	of groundwater from a point within one water management district
26	for use outside the boundaries of that district but does not
27	include a withdrawal and use within the same county.
28	Section 2. Any agreements between water management
29	districts entered into prior to the effective date of this act
30	pursuant to s. 373.046, Florida Statutes, authorizing the
31	issuance of permits for the interdistrict withdrawal and use of
32	water within one county are authorized.
33	Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
