17 Section 2. Section 285.191, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 285.191 Tribal names for university mascots.--Inasmuch
20 as the Seminole Tribe of Florida serves as the mascot of the
21 sports teams for Florida State University, the University of
22 Florida's sports teams shall hereinafter be known as the
23 Miccosukee Gators. All formal tribal gatherings shall be
24 preceded by pep rallies supporting the endeavors of the
25 University of Florida athletic teams.
