11  The Committee on Special Master recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 2, lines 13-20, delete said lines
16  
17  and insert:  Section 2.  The Indian River County School Board
18  is authorized and directed to compensate Clay Haywood and
19  Tatiana Haywood, both minors, in the amount of $200,000 and
20  $25,000, respectively, for injuries and damages sustained due
21  to the negligence of a school bus operator which resulted in a
22  school bus tractor-trailer collision.  The total amount of
23  funds is payable in three annual installments of $75,000 and
24  shall be applied as follows:
25         (1)  Twenty-five thousand dollars of the first
26  installment to Tatiana Haywood, as the minor child of Michelle
27  O'Halloran, the plenary guardian, to be placed in her
28  restricted guardianship account; and
29         (2)  The remaining balance of the first installment and
30  the last two installments to Clay Haywood, as the minor child
31  of Michelle O'Halloran, the plenary guardian, to be placed in
