  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the state universities;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to revise

  4         laws to implement the constitutional amendment

  5         concerning state universities; providing

  6         effective dates.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  enact legislation to operate, regulate, control, and manage

12  the state universities by implementing the constitutional

13  amendment concerning state universities.

14         Section 2.  Except as otherwise expressly provided in

15  this act, this act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
