11  The Committee on Comprehensive Planning recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         Delete everything after the enacting clause
16  
17  and insert:  
18         Section 1.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section
19  380.115, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20         380.115  Vested rights and duties; effect of chs.
21  2002-20 and 2002-296.--
22         (1)  Nothing contained in this act abridges or modifies
23  any vested or other right or any duty or obligation pursuant
24  to any development order or agreement that is applicable to a
25  development of regional impact on the effective date of this
26  act. A development that has received a
27  development-of-regional-impact development order pursuant to
28  s. 380.06, but is no longer required to undergo
29  development-of-regional-impact review by operation of this
30  act, shall be governed by the following procedures:
31         (b)  If requested by The developer or landowner, the

 1  development-of-regional-impact development order may abandon
 2  the development-of-regional impact development order upon
 3  written notification to the applicable local government. Upon
 4  receipt of the written notice by the local government, the
 5  development-of-regional impact development order is void. be
 6  abandoned pursuant to the process in s. 380.06(26)
 7         Section 2.  Except as provided herein, this act shall
 8  take effect upon becoming a law.

16                      A bill to be entitled
17         An act relating to growth management; amending
18         s. 380.115, F.S.; clarifying procedures by

20         development-of-regional impact development
21         order; providing an effective date.
