Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

Section 1. Purple Heart Memorial Highway designated; |
29
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
30
|
(1) That portion of Interstate 75 from the Georgia-Florida |
31
|
state line to the city limits of Ocala in Marion County is |
32
|
hereby designated as "Purple Heart Memorial Highway." |
33
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
34
|
suitable markers designating Purple Heart Memorial Highway as |
35
|
described in subsection (1). |

|
Section 2. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway |
37
|
designated; department to erect suitable markers.-- |
38
|
(1) That portion of U.S. Highway 41 located in White |
39
|
Springs in Hamilton County is hereby designated as "Dr. Martin |
40
|
Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway." |

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
42
|
suitable markers designating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., |
43
|
Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1). |

Section 3. Nott Circle Roundabout designated; department |

|
to erect suitable markers.-- |

(1) The roundabout at State Road 51, Walker Avenue, and |
47
|
County Road 136 located in Live Oak in Suwannee County is hereby |
48
|
designated as "Nott Circle Roundabout." |

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
50
|
suitable markers designating Nott Circle Roundabout as described |
51
|
in subsection (1). |

Section 4. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway |

|
designated; department to erect suitable markers.--

(1) That portion of U.S. Highway 27 (State Road 63) inside |
55
|
the city limits of Havana in Gadsden County is hereby designated |
56
|
as the "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway."
|

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
58
|
two memorial signs at the north and south ends of the city |
59
|
limits designating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway |
60
|
as described in subsection (1). |

Section 5. Jim Deaton Memorial Bridge designated; |
62
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
63
|
(1) The northbound and southbound spans of the Cedar River |
64
|
Bridge (bridge designations 720325 and 720326) on State Road 21 |
65
|
in Duval County are hereby collectively designated the "Jim |
66
|
Deaton Memorial Bridge." |
67
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
68
|
suitable markers designating the Jim Deaton Memorial Bridge as |
69
|
described in subsection (1).

Section 6. L. E. Buie Bridge designated; department to |
71
|
erect suitable markers.--
|

(1) The Skypass Bridge (bridge number 930470) in the City |
73
|
of Riviera Beach in Palm Beach County is designated as the "L. |
74
|
E. Buie Bridge."
|

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
76
|
suitable markers designating the L. E. Buie Bridge as described |
77
|
in subsection (1). |

|
Section 7. Prisoners of War and Missing in Action bridge |
79
|
dedications; department to erect suitable markers.-- |

|
(1) The new Rose Bay bridges on U.S. Highway 1, between |
81
|
the Cities of New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange in Volusia |
82
|
County, are dedicated in honor of United States military |
83
|
personnel who are prisoners of war (POW's) or who are missing in |
84
|
action (MIA's).
|

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
86
|
suitable markers designating the dedication in honor of POW's |
87
|
and MIA's as described in subsection (1). |

|
Section 8. Jean-Jacques Dessalines Boulevard designated; |

|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |

|
(1) State Road 944 on N.W. 54th Street in Miami-Dade |
91
|
County from the west boundary of State House District 108 to |
92
|
U.S. Highway 1 is hereby designated as "Jean-Jacques Dessalines |
93
|
Boulevard." |

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
95
|
suitable markers designating Jean-Jacques Dessalines Boulevard |
96
|
as described in subsection (1). |

|
Section 9. Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard designated; |

|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |

|
(1) State Road 922 on N.W. 125th Street from N.W. 7th |
100
|
Avenue to Griffing Boulevard in Miami-Dade County is hereby |

|
designated as "Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard." |

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |

|
suitable markers designating Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard as |
104
|
described in subsection (1). |

|
Section 10. This act shall take effect upon becoming a |

|
law. |
