  2         An act relating to the Miami River Commission;

  3         repealing s. 7 of ch. 98-402, Laws of Florida;

  4         abrogating the repeal of ss. 163.06 and

  5         163.061, F.S., relating to the Miami River

  6         Commission; providing an effective date.

  8         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the creation,

  9  operation, and accomplishments of the Miami River Commission

10  and wishes to extend the life of the commission, which is

11  otherwise scheduled to be terminated on July 1, 2003, NOW,

12  THEREFORE,

14  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

15  

16         Section 1.  Section 7 of chapter 98-402, Laws of

17  Florida, is repealed.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.
