  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the

  3         Wastewater Treatment and Stormwater Management

  4         Revolving Loan Trust Fund within the Department

  5         of Environmental Protection without

  6         modification; carrying forward current balances

  7         and continuing current sources and uses

  8         thereof; providing an effective date.

  9  

10         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

11  the Wastewater Treatment and Stormwater Management Revolving

12  Loan Trust Fund within the Department of Environmental

13  Protection, which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated

14  pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

15         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund

16  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it

17  continues to meet an important public purpose, and

18         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

19  policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for

20  its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

21  

22  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

23  

24         Section 1.  (1)  The Wastewater Treatment and

25  Stormwater Management Revolving Loan Trust Fund within the

26  Department of Environmental Protection, FLAIR number 37-2-661,

27  which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article

28  III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2004, is

29  re-created.

 1         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund are carried

 2  forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund

 3  are continued.

 4         Section 2.  This act shall take effect November 4,

 5  2004.
