1	House Resolution
2	A resolution honoring Christopher M. Still.

4	WHEREAS, a native and lifelong resident of Florida,
5	Christopher M. Still was commissioned to apply his artistic
6	gifts to portray Florida’s culture and history in the Chamber of
7	the Florida House of Representatives, and
8	WHEREAS, a panoramic mural composed of eight large
9	paintings by Christopher Still celebrates the state’s history,
10	people, and culture and serves as a living reminder to this Body
11	of its profound responsibility to the citizens of Florida, and
12	WHEREAS, Mr. Still’s paintings and drawings are displayed
13	in galleries, museums, and private collections throughout the
14	United States, including the Florida Governor’s Mansion, The
15	Smithsonian Institution, and the White House, and
16	WHEREAS, currently a resident of Tarpon Springs, Mr. Still
17	teaches and exhibits at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center, from which
18	he received his first scholarship, and
19	WHEREAS, Mr. Still is a Floridian in whom his state takes
20	great pride and whose work will live on in this Chamber for
21	generations to come, NOW, THEREFORE,

23	Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
24	Florida:

26	That the House of Representatives takes great pride in
27	commending Christopher M. Still for his artistic achievements
28	and for the outstanding contributions he has made to the State
29	of Florida and to this Chamber.
30	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
31	formally presented to Christopher M. Still as an expression of
32	our great appreciation for his outstanding artistic contribution
33	to the Chamber of the Florida House of Representatives.
