  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to ad valorem taxation;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to implement

  4         s. 4(e), Art. VII of the State Constitution;

  5         providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8  

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to enact

10  legislation to provide for a consistent, unambiguous,

11  efficient, and cost-effective implementation of Section 4(e),

12  Article VII of the State Constitution.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law and shall apply to tax years beginning on or after January

15  1, 2004.
