16	(8) If, in defending a petition for benefits, an employer
17	or carrier incurs attorney’s fees that exceed the fee payable to
18	the claimant’s attorney under this section, the fee limitations
19	as set forth in this section shall not apply and the fee due the
20	claimant’s attorney shall be a reasonable fee as determined by
21	the judge of compensation claims.
