Remove line(s) 951-961, and insert: |

(5) For the 2003-2004 fiscal year only and notwithstanding |
17
|
the provisions of this section and s. 339.09(1), the Department |
18
|
of Transportation is authorized to loan the General Revenue Fund |
19
|
up to $200 million for the purpose of mitigating losses to the |
20
|
General Revenue Fund due to economic downturns. Any specific |
21
|
appropriation vetoed by the Governor in the 2003-2004 General |
22
|
Appropriations Act shall be used to repay loans to the General |
23
|
Revenue Fund from the State Transportation Trust Fund. Such loan |
24
|
may be comprised of several smaller loans made during the 2003- |
25
|
2004 fiscal year. Notwithstanding ss. 206.46(3) and 206.606(2), |
26
|
the total amount loaned shall be reduced from total state |
27
|
revenues deposited into the State Transportation Trust Fund for |
28
|
the calculation requirements of ss. 206.46(3) and 206.606(2). |

|
This subsection expires July 1, 2004.
