and Osceola Counties; directing the Department of |

Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing for |

|
construction of the act in pari materia with laws enacted |
12
|
during the 2003 Regular Session or the 2003 Special |
13
|
Session A of the Legislature; providing an effective date. |

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
16
|
|

|
Section 1. Browning-Pearce Memorial Highway designated; |
18
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
19
|
(1) That portion of State Road 207 between Interstate |
20
|
Highway 95 in St. Johns County and the intersection with U.S. |
21
|
Highway 17 in Putnam County is designated as "Browning-Pearce |
22
|
Memorial Highway."
|
23
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
24
|
suitable markers designating Browning-Pearce Memorial Highway as |
25
|
described in subsection (1).
|

|
Section 2. Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway designated; |
27
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
28
|
(1) That portion of U.S. Highway 17 in Putnam County from |
29
|
Crescent City south to the border at Volusia County is |
30
|
designated as "Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway."
|
31
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
32
|
suitable markers designating Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway |
33
|
as described in subsection (1).
|

|
Section 3. James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard designated; |
35
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
36
|
(1) That portion of State Road 16 in Clay County within |
37
|
the town limits of the Town of Penney Farms is designated as |
38
|
"James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard."
|
39
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
40
|
suitable markers designating James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard |
41
|
as described in subsection (1).
|

|
Section 4. C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge designated; |
43
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
44
|
(1) The C. Fred Arrington Bridge located on U.S. Highway |
45
|
27 between Tallahassee and Havana and crossing the Ochlockonee |
46
|
River is designated as "C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge."

|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
48
|
suitable markers designating C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge |
49
|
as described in subsection (1).
|

|
Section 5. Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway designated; |
51
|
department to erect suitable markers.-- |
52
|
(1) That portion of U.S. Highway 192 from Interstate |
53
|
Highway 95 in Brevard County to St. Cloud in Osceola County is |
54
|
designated as "Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway."
|
55
|
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect |
56
|
suitable markers designating Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway as |
57
|
described in subsection (1).
|

|
Section 6. If any law amended by this act was also amended |
59
|
by a law enacted at the 2003 Regular Session of the Legislature |
60
|
or at the 2003 Special Session A of the Legislature, such laws |
61
|
shall be construed as if they had been enacted at the same |
62
|
session of the Legislature, and full effect shall be given to |
63
|
each if possible. |

Section 7. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
