A concurrent resolution extending the 2003 Special Session |

B of the Legislature under the authority of Article III, |

|
Section 3(d) of the State Constitution. |

WHEREAS, the four days of the 2003 Special Session B of the |
7
|
Florida Legislature will expire on June 19, 2003, and the |
8
|
necessary tasks of the special session have not been completed, |
9
|
NOW, THEREFORE, |

|

|
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of |
12
|
Florida, the Senate Concurring: |
13
|
|
14
|
That the 2003 Special Session B of the Florida Legislature |
15
|
is extended to 11:59 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2003, under the |
16
|
authority of Article III, Section 3(d) of the State |
17
|
Constitution. |
18
|
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the special session so extended |
19
|
shall consider only the following matters: |
20
|
(1) Senate Bill 2-B and House Bill 63-B, which bills |
21
|
address medical malpractice. |
22
|
(2) Senate Bill 4-B and House Bill 71-B, which bills |
23
|
address public records and public meetings exemptions relating |
24
|
to medical malpractice. |
25
|
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in either |
26
|
house are hereby indefinitely postponed. |
27
|
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon adjournment or recess on |
28
|
Thursday, June 19, 2003, either house may reconvene upon the |
29
|
call of its presiding officer. |
