11  Senator Bennett moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 3, between lines 16 and 17,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 2.  Subsection (9) of section 440.02, Florida
18  Statutes, is amended to read:
19         440.02  Definitions.--When used in this chapter, unless
20  the context clearly requires otherwise, the following terms
21  shall have the following meanings:
22         (9)  "Corporate officer" or "officer of a corporation"
23  means any person who fills an office provided for in the
24  corporate charter or articles of incorporation filed with the
25  Division of Corporations of the Department of State or as
26  permitted or required by chapter 607. As to persons engaged in
27  the construction industry, the term "officer of a corporation"
28  includes a member owning at least 10 percent of a limited
29  liability company created and approved under chapter 608.
