Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

|
|

|
Section 1. (1) The Entertainment Industry Financial |
11
|
Incentive Trust Fund is created within, and shall be |
12
|
administered by, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic |
13
|
Development. Moneys credited to the trust fund shall be those |
14
|
appropriated from the General Revenue Fund or from other sources |
15
|
to make incentive payments under s. 288.1254, Florida Statutes, |
16
|
creating an entertainment industry financial incentive program. |

|
The purpose of the trust fund is to facilitate the payment of |
18
|
incentives under such program. |

|
(2) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the State |
20
|
Constitution, the trust fund must, unless terminated sooner, be |
21
|
terminated on July 1, 2008. Before its scheduled termination, |
22
|
the trust fund must be reviewed as provided in s. 215.3206(1) |
23
|
and (2), Florida Statutes. |

Section 2. The sum of $5 million is appropriated from the |
25
|
General Revenue Fund to the Entertainment Industry Financial |
26
|
Incentive Trust Fund.

|
Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, |
28
|
but only if enacted by a three-fifths vote of the membership of |
29
|
each house of the Legislature. |
