13  Schultz moved the following amendment:

16         On page 25, between lines 8 and 9,

18  insert:  
19         Section 12.  For the 2003-2004 fiscal year, the sum of
20  $50 million is appropriated from nonrecurring general revenue
21  to the Agency for Workforce Innovation to fund Florida Citizen
22  Soldier matching grants to private-sector employers in this
23  state which continue to provide wages to employees who are
24  serving in the United States Armed Forces Reserves or the
25  Florida National Guard while such employees are on federal
26  active duty, provided that the employees are residents of this
27  state during the period of such federal active duty. Grants
28  shall be provided for monthly wages paid to employees for the
29  actual period of federal active duty, but in no case shall
30  grants be provided for any federal active duty prior to
31  January 1, 2003, or subsequent to June 30, 2004. The monthly
