11  Senator Hill moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 25, between lines 8 and 9,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 12.  For the 2003-2004 fiscal year, the sum of
18  $20 million is appropriated from nonrecurring general revenue
19  to the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide
20  comprehensive health insurance coverage to Title XXI children
21  eligible under the Florida Kidcare Program. Notwithstanding
22  any language contained in the 2003-2004 General Appropriations
23  Act, including, but not limited to, Specific Appropriations
24  144 through 147, such funds shall be used during fiscal year
25  2003-2004:
26         (1)  To provide Kidcare benefits and coverage for Title
27  XXI eligible children on the waiting list as of the effective
28  date of this act.
29         (2)  For Title XXI eligible children not on the waiting
30  list as of the effective date of this act but for whom
31  application is subsequently made for Kidcare benefits.
