13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 2, lines 11 and 12, delete those lines

16  and insert:  districts based on results of the pilot program.
17         (1)  This act does not apply to the purchase of
18  instructional materials in the subject areas of science,
19  history, social studies, and civics.
20         (2)  This section expires July 1, 2007.
