  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to highway designations;

  3         designating a portion of U.S. Highway 192 as

  4         "Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway"; directing

  5         the Department of Transportation to erect

  6         suitable markers; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway

11  designated; department to erect suitable markers.--

12         (1)  U.S. 192 from Interstate 95, in Brevard County, to

13  St. Cloud in Osceola County, is designated as "Howard E. Futch

14  Memorial Highway."

15         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

16  erect suitable markers designating the Howard E. Futch

17  Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.

21                          SENATE SUMMARY

22    Designates that portion of U.S. Highway 192 from
      Interstate 95 in Brevard County, to St. Cloud in Osceola
23    County, as Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway. Provides for
