| 4 | Remove line(s) 1037-1041 and insert: |
| 5 | (10) SHARED REVENUES.-- |
| 6 | (a) Broward County shall distribute to the city, from |
| 7 | taxes, franchise fees, and ad valorem taxes, revenues collected |
| 8 | within the municipal boundaries of the city. This calculation |
| 9 | shall be based upon a population projection of 12,750. |
| 10 | (b) It is the intent of this charter that the |
| 11 | communication services tax imposed under section 202.19, Florida |
| 12 | Statutes, by Broward County, will continue within the city |
| 13 | boundaries during the period commencing with the date of |
| 14 | incorporation through December 31, 2005. Such revenues from the |
| 15 | tax shall be shared by Broward County with the city in |
| 16 | proportion to the projected city population of 12,750 compared |
| 17 | to the unincorporated population of Broward County before the |
| 18 | incorporation. |
